Our Story Begins Here

All Things New Sewing & Service LLC is committed to providing top-notch sewing machine repair services to RVA. With a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we strive to be your go-to destination for all sewing machine repair-related needs.

In 2023, Charity reached out to apprentice under Molly at ScrapRVA.  She opened All Things New Sewing & Service out of their living room in January of 2024.  After seeing the business grow and the need for a more in-depth complicated repairs, Molly joined her and we opened the storefront in Feb 2025 with the offer from Sew Snips Fabric Warehouse to use half of their building for classroom and workshop space.

Molly Ann McCay is a daughter of the Osage Nation with deep cultural roots in her tribe. She has over a decade of machine tech experience and multiple classes, programs, and apprenticeships completed.  She has a deep love for all things historical and a focus on vintage and antique restoration. Molly focuses on expanding knowledge and bringing new techs into the business.  With almost five years working in non-profit Creative Reuse, her focus is on keeping machines in customer's hands and keeping makers creating.

Charity New loves all things tinkering.  She has a great interest in computerized machines and all things vintage Kenmore and Viking.  She completed Sew Doc Academy in 2024.  Charity loves to teach.  She cares deeply for her students and enjoys watching people create.
