December!!! Happy holidays from All Things New

Holy cow!! We’re almost to December!


I’m so excited to talk about this upcoming week! We will officially be closed Wednesday and Thursday of Thanksgiving week but I will have a skeleton staff at the shop on Wednesday working on current service and getting the building reset from yesterday’s classes. So feel free to come pickup your machines if you’ve received a call


Current service intake is 31 in cue, 4 in progress with 35 waiting for pickup! If you have been called to pick up your machine, please do!

We are currently working on machines from November 16th.


Friday and Saturday we’ll be celebrating RVA with a special sale of 10-20% off some great machines and products.

Classes!!! You’ve been waiting on classes.


For the up to date class schedules.

Wednesday the 3rd is a jelly roll race with a serger class with Meg from 3-6pm

1-3pm on Friday the 5th is a paper piecing short class for making a Santa pincushion.

Affirmation mug rugs with Molly on the 10th will teach you quilting techniques in the small. These are great gifts!

On the 12th 11-4 is a walk-in event for making a drawstring tree treat bag for $10 at the door

Dec 13-14 1-4 is Fabric 101. Learn all about how to use fabric, different types or fabric, how to SHOP for fabric and how to sew it for VCU Fashion Professor Amanda Campbell.


Dec 17th is exploring serger stitches. Learn more about your serger and how to use different techniques with it from 3-5pm

Art of embroidery club meets the 19th from 3-5pm


Then every other weekend we have clubs for adults or kids. They include everything you need and are beginner friendly. December is all about interfacing. We’ll be making stockings and oven mitts.


As a HUGE thank you to RVa for all you’ve done for us this year, we’re opening up every Thursday in December for open sews for FREE.

Finding us:

We are now inside Governor’s Square Shopping Center in Bon Aire/ Richmond at 9830 Midlothian Turnpike unit A. You’ll look for us by turning at All Med and finding us at the back of this parking lot, or taking the light that takes you into the Olive Garden parking lot, drive past the Plato’s Closet consignment store and come around the back parking lot to your left, we are in the front of that building… drive around to the crazy round cottage that looks like this:

Look for the big open flag and the duck light in the window.

We’re open Wednesday-Saturdays 10-5pm. Closed for holidays.
